The two predominant themes in the responses I received on my Blended Threat column two weeks back were rage and resolve.
Many of you were tired of dealing with spam, viruses, malware, and even legitimate but persistent and annoying advertisements. You thought you should be better protected at work by your systems folks. That seemed reasonable to me.
A few of you also noted that these problems were largely confined to Microsoft Windows-based systems and suggested switching to the Apple OS or Linux.
