Summary
Newsbeuter does not properly escape shell meta-characters in an RSS item with a media enclosure in the podcast playback function of Podbeuter.
Resolution
Gentoo has discontinued support for Newsbeuter and recommends that
users unmerge the package:
# emerge --unmerge "net-news/newsbeuter"
