Summary
It was discovered that there was an arbitrary code execution vulnerability in the pump DHCP/BOOTP client.
Resolution
Gentoo has discontinued support for pump. We recommend that usersunmerge pump:
# emerge --unmerge "net-misc/pump"

Impact
