New bind packages are available for Slackware 13.0, 13.1, 13.37, 14.0, 14.1,
14.2, and -current to fix a security issue.


Here are the details from the Slackware 14.2 ChangeLog:

  Fixed a security issue:
  getrrsetbyname with a non absolute name could trigger an infinite
    recursion bug in lwresd and named with lwres configured if when
    combined with a search list entry the resulting name is too long.
