Summary
A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives: - Ubuntu 23.10 - Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Available with Ubuntu Pro) - Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Available with Ubuntu Pro) - Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Available with Ubuntu Pro) Summary: NPM IP could be made to expose sensitive information over the network. Software Description: - node-ip: IP address utilities for node.js Details: Emre Durmaz discovered that NPM IP package incorrectly distinguished between private and public IP addresses. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks.
